Hurford Salvi & Carr helped me buy my apartment in 2011 and have managed it ever since. I was never without a tenant throughout the period either. I have had the usual run of issues with the place related to break downs, tenants as well as a goods vehicle somehow managing to back into the downstairs wall. All of this was very ably managed by Karen Cruz who went out of her way to ensure that these things were dealt with. I relied on her for advice on what to do and best option to take. There will be a short pause whilst a family member resides but I will be straight back to Hurford Salvi & Carr, and hopefully Karen, as soon as they leave.
Having worked at Dexters Estate Agents in the past myself and understanding his role from the same side of the fence, Gareth has been a pleasure to engage with. He’s been very responsive and caring to us over the last 18 months ( I could name a few separate occasions but I don’t want to bore you)! He’s acted in a professional manner always and easy to engage with. Gareth quickly built a strong level of rapport with me and therefore I felt comfortable asking him questions about are tenancy agreement that I normally wouldn’t.

The area has changed during those 13 years, of course, but Marco has been a constant presence, pounding the streets, keeping an eye on every development. In residential property circles, he is surely ‘Mr Clerkenwell’.
For my sale, he arranged an exceptional set of photographs, wrote enticing property particulars and secured a positive editorial mention in House & Gardens magazine. Hurford Salvi arranged around 30 viewings in 5 or 6 weeks and provided useful feedback on each one. Despite the Brexit uncertainty at the time, Marco and his team obtained 2 offers close to the asking price, both from overseas cash buyers. He made sure that members of his team shepherded the sale transaction to its conclusion.
Other Estate Agents have set up shop since 2006, but no one knows Clerkenwell like Marco.

Both Marc and John exhibited poise, control and professionalism under a great deal of pressure. They were all over the problem on a daily basis. In the end all came good but they made sure that I was reassured all along the way.
They know the local area inside out and were so easy to work with – always available, never rushed and always happy to answer any questions I had.

As a previous Senior Sales Consultant at Dexters, I found the service that John provided to be unrivalled. After looking around several properties with other agents we were quite disappointed with the services they provided, after meeting John, I brought into him as an individual and was exceptionally keen to rent a property though him.
If anyone is looking to rent a property in central London, John is definitely the most competent Consultant I have worked with.
The only sad comment is related to water leaking which the agency already knew and didn’t repair it until I moved there, it’s still working in progress.
