I sold my house last year in August via Hurford Salvi Carr. Thanks to the help of their team, who are very professional in communicating and bringing serious intended viewers/buyers through doors. I am particularly impressed with Ellis and his willingness to help during the process, and after I left the property, such as helping on issues with re-directly mails, etc. Also, the fee charged by Hurford Salvi Carr is definitely one of the lowest in London yet I received the best services compared to the rest, I would recommend Hurford Salvi Carr to anyone is looking to buy or sell their property.

I chose Hurford Salvi Carr as I felt they had a good feel for the market and because my flat was priced realistically, i received an acceptable offer quite quickly. Then lockdown struck. I would to pass on my thanks to Sebastian, a true gentleman, who took care of the selling of our property. He did a fantastic job guiding us through the sale when we are 10000 miles away. Sebastian did things for us that were not expected of him like, arranging for removal of unwanted furniture, Investigating the use of the carpark facility by another tenant, personally chasing and purchasing an FOB out of his own pocket and allowing us to pay back later. Sebastian and Ellis were fantastic in helping secure the sale of my 1 bedroom flat on the Limehouse Basin. In fact, Sebastian was the agent who originally sold me the very same flat 7 years ago!

They know the local area inside out and were so easy to work with – always available, never rushed and always happy to answer any questions I had.

Recently purchased a property, with Kirk being the agent. He was very helpful and flexed his schedule to allow multiple visits prior to purchase. He was also on hand to take the surveyor round with little notice so I didn’t have to get time off work. Kirk sent weekly updates without prompting or being asked to, informing me on progress the vendor had made with their solicitors and various filings, all helping to keep the process moving along smoothly. It was great to have the agent more involved as this certainly helped my peace of mind during the purchase, being highly professional throughout.

Prior to appointing an estate agent to sell our property we invited 3 agents to visit our property, as a result we felt that Hurford Salvi Carr had more knowledge about the area and also up to date knowledge in connection with property prices. As a result we appointed Hurford Salvi Carr and it was the right choice.

Hurford Salvi Carr instantly saw the benefits and uniqueness of the property which other agents did not seem to see.

Once appointed we had viewers within 24 hours. Kirk was great always on the other end of the phone or e-mail giving advice and guidance. I am pleased to say all viewers were vetted and were generally interested in viewing the property. Kirk also attended the valuation and made sure all was well. However, issues with the vendor and the tenants posed problems throughout the deal but the team at Hurford Salvi Carr showed great subject matter expertise and liaising skills to ensure that the deal went through with success and without delay. In my line of business, you need to decide in less than five minutes if the person on the other end of the phone really knows what they are talking about. In our initial phone conversation, Kirk Parry transmitted that necessary confidence and continued to demonstrate a serious and professional attitude throughout the entire process.

I think that Kirk worked well for both the buyer and the seller in order to make the operation a success, something that is not so easy in the present crazy East London housing market. His honesty, experience and local knowledge were much appreciated. He also worked well to maintain control of a situation that was not the easiest to manage as both buyer and seller were out of the country.

At the time, I was in contact with a number of property agents and viewing various similar properties. My experience with Kirk and Hurford-Salvi-Carr was an important factor in the final buying decision. I would be happy to recommend them to others.

I am happy to say that I was impressed by your (and your firm’s) professionalism in dealing with the sale of the Flat to us and in the way you were able to keep all parties in a happy conducive relationship. The circumstances of the probate were clearly a challenge not just for the sellers but us because of the time it took to untangle. This passage of time is dangerous as parties can find that anxieties build and can result in all sorts of fanciful paranoia that might upset the transaction. I decided to give Hurford Salvi Carr a crack at selling my house after they’d had a couple of years managing the tenancy very efficiently. I suggested sole agency for a couple of months to see how it went but, despite it taking somewhat longer, they never gave me cause to think of going elsewhere. The indomitable Sebastian and his team provided a steady stream of viewings which led to an offer very quickly, and managed the situation which inevitably became quite complicated, keeping me informed at all times which was especially important with living overseas. Within the day Kirk had arranged numerous viewings, and within a few weeks he had secured and negotiated a great price for us. Sebastian from Hurford Salvi Carr was the ultimate professional.

Once our offer had been accepted, we were keen to complete on the purchase as soon as possible. There were a number of complications with the property and the vendor’s solicitors were initially very slow. Sebastian was very focussed on ensuring that any obstacles to exchange were addressed as soon as possible, contacting the relevant parties to move things along, being available to discuss all relevant issues, and providing regular updates. He was very hands on, and even phoned the council up to chase them on local search results!

This proactive approach and Sebastian’s strong communication skills ensured the transaction was completed much more quickly than it otherwise would have been. Indeed, we set a target completion date and the work from Sebastian ensured that completion happened on the target date.

As buyers we were highly satisfied with the professional approach of Hurford Salvi Carr, and would certainly use them in the future if we decide to sell the property given the professional approach, the fact that Sebastian was very pleasant, and these agents are people I would be happy to have as my representatives.

John and I would like to express our thanks to you all for looking after our property over recent years until its sale last week. We really appreciate the professional and friendly service you provided.

Our first contact with Hurford Salvi Carr was with Mason several years ago and we were impressed then at his knowledge of the market and his professionalism and were so pleased when he found us a new, suitable tenant before another rival local firm did so. This enabled us to sever links with the other firm who lacked the same degree of professionalism and whose lettings and property management service we had been using. It was always a pleasure to discuss rental renewals with Mason and then Colleen, both of whom guided us appropriately supported by extensive market insight. We would also like to thank the property management division for their help in collecting the rent and the associated administration. The fact that we cannot name individuals (please would you pass this on to those involved) is perhaps testament to the smooth-running of this side of the service.

We had always targeted the Olympics as being the time to start thinking about selling and, when our last tenants decided not to renew for a full year last October, we discussed the situation with Sebastian. Again, his market knowledge was in-depth and we made a decision to sell based on that discussion. The rest is history, as they say, with Kirk finding us a buyer who completed the purchase last Friday. Throughout the period Kirk worked hard for us liaising with the various parties to ensure that the sale went through.
